Hoag Orthopedics Education Research Institute
Previously known as the Orthopedic Education and Research Institute (OERI), Hoag Orthopedics is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by physicians at Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI). The nonprofit is funded, thanks to the philanthropic support within the community through the Hoag Hospital Foundation.
The doctors at Newport Orthopedic Institute believe in Hoag Orthopedics’ mission to share their knowledge of orthopedic medicine for the good of patients everywhere. As a result, physicians at Newport Orthopedic Institute participate in the surgical fellowships in sports medicine, joint replacement and spine surgery to help educate orthopedic surgeons of tomorrow.
Hoag Orthopedics’ Fellowship Programs
The orthopedic surgeons at Newport Orthopedic Institute are proud to be involved in the following surgical orthopedic fellowship programs to help train future orthopedic surgeons.
Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Fellowship
- Nader A. Nassif, MD is the Program Co-Director of the 2017-18 Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Fellowship
- James T. Caillouette, MD is a Faculty member of the 2017-18 Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Fellowship
Sports Medicine Fellowship
- David S. Gazzaniga, MD is the Program Director of the 2017-18 Sports Medicine Fellowship
- Alan H. Beyer, MD and Russel S. Petrie, MD are Faculty members of the 2017-18 Sports Medicine Fellowship
Surgical Spine Fellowship
- Richard S. Lee, MD is a Faculty member of the 2017-18 Surgical Spine Fellowship
