Newport Orthopedic Institute's Dr. Brian J. Choi was recently interviewed by U.S. News & World Report to discuss the benefits of a full body workout. He explains that just like everyday activities, which involve your entire body, it is important to emulate this when you work out. He reviews 7 key exercises that can help build strength and stamina quickly and effectively for improved full-body fitness.
About Dr. Brian Jin Choi
Dr. Brian Jin Choi specializes in nonsurgical sports medicine, including sports injuries of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and hip. Dr. Choi was born in South Korea and moved to the United States when he was a young boy and grew up in Orange County, CA. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching various sports, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, snowboarding, cooking and spending time with his wife and their rescued shepherd-mix dog. Dr. Choi also volunteers time at various sporting events such as high school football, water polo and rugby when he's not at the office. Dr. Choi is currently a team physician for the USA Women's Water Polo Team.
